Welcome to the rolling hills of the Casablanca Valley, a region that has become synonymous with winemaking.

Chile´s wine scene is flourishing today due to its steady weather, isolating geography, unique microclimates and quality soil. The Casablanca Valley utilizes warm day temperatures and cool nights to produce excellent wines including Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Riesling, and many more. Combining modern techniques with traditional methods, the wineries of this region are competing – and succeeding – on the world stage.

The Giants

No other wineries do enoturismo like these two award-winning vineyards that dominate the region. Indomita gazes over the valley from its perch high atop the hill while Casas del Bosque has a more intimate feel and is considered to be the best winery in the area.

The Unique

Discover the Chardonnoir blend at Bodegas RE, a vineyard born some nine generations ago by the Morande family before learning all about the organic principles that govern at Emiliana.

The Boutique

We visit two small-scale wineries that passion produced. We stop at Attilio & Mochi who are producing fine wines that tell a story before enjoying Viña Catrala, nestled within a biosphere reserve.

Vintner Valley Experience

One for the creative travellers, on this trip we visit La Catrala for a leisurely walk about the grounds (within a biosphere reserve), tour and tasting. We then head to the popular HOUSE restaurant for lunch before finishing the day at the organic vineyard, Emiliana, where we create our own wine after tasting.

Matetic Day Out

A great option for those wanting to drink great wine while mixing it up with a bit of fun. The day begins with one of the many activities on offer at the winery, such as a gentle hike, bike ride or horse trek, followed by lunch in the stunning Matetic restaurant. We spend the afternoon exploring the vineyard where you learn about the specific biodynamic principles governing the growth of the organic grapes.

Valley Tasting Tour

A fabulous option for families, on this full-day tour we visit a goat farm to learn how cheese is made, cuddle + bottle feed baby goats, and finish by tasting the farm’s delicious goat cheeses. After that we head to a honey producer right in the heart of a CONAF reforestation project, where we enjoy their honey with homemade bread before donning the beekeeping gear and going up close to the hives. Lunch is included on this tour, and is a set menu at a Casablanca restaurant. We finish the day at Attilio & Mochi for a vineyard tour + tasting of their delicious wine.
